Malaria
Prevention and natural support of malaria.
Malaria is a parasitic disease transmitted by the bite of an infected Anopheles mosquito. It is manifested by fever, chills, headaches and severe fatigue. Prompt medical advice is essential in case of suspicion.
Symptoms
High fever, chills and sweating; intense headache; muscle and joint pain; general fatigue; nausea, vomiting; sometimes diarrhea. Symptoms usually appear 7-15 days after an infected mosquito bite.
Advice
Quickly consult a health professional at the first symptoms, especially in endemic areas. Sleep under an impregnated mosquito net. Remove standing water around the home. Hydrate well in case of fever. Observe any prescribed treatment to the end, even if it improves.
